Swiss and micro-machining shops: small-part precision RFQs routed to you

Parts under half an inch with sub-thousandth tolerances usually bounce off a general CNC marketplace. If your shop runs Swiss lathes or micro mills, we have the work the big engines will not quote.

Medical and surgical instrument components

  • Bone screws, orthopedic pins, dental drivers in Ti-6Al-4V ELI and 17-4 PH
  • Surgical hand-piece parts in stainless and PEEK
  • ISO 13485 traceability where the end use requires it

Electronics and electromechanical

  • Connector pins, terminals, and threaded standoffs in brass and beryllium copper
  • Encoder shafts and sensor housings
  • Low-volume prototype and mid-volume production (100–50,000 pcs)

Aerospace fasteners and fittings

  • Fuel-system fittings in 316L and Inconel
  • Instrumentation and sensor fittings for turbines and engines
  • AS9100 or NADCAP where the drawing calls for it

Micro-machining

  • Features below 0.030 in on medical, optical, and electronics parts
  • Tiny milled parts: lens barrels, probe tips, micro-fluidic manifolds
  • Workholding and metrology confidence at sub-millimeter scale

What qualifies you

What a qualified Swiss or micro shop looks like

Swiss lathes
Citizen, Star, Tornos, Marubeni, Tsugami, or equivalent. Live tooling, sub-spindle, bar-feed capacity for your typical lot sizes.
Micro mills
Kern, Makino iQ, Mikron HSM, or equivalent. HSK or micro-collet toolholding and sub-micron positioning.
Material experience
Routine with free-machining stainless (303, 316L, 416), medical titanium, 17-4 PH, brass, PEEK, and medical polymers.
Inspection at scale
Vision measurement systems, Keyence or equivalent profilometer, air gaging. First-article inspection reports standard.
Certifications
ISO 9001 is enough for general industrial. AS9100 opens aerospace fittings; ISO 13485 opens medical.
Secondary ops
Deburring (hand, thermal, electrochemical), passivation partner, electropolish for medical.

What you get

What a Swiss / micro partner gets

Free to join; no fees

No subscription, no per-RFQ fee, no commission.

Repeat production, not just prototypes

Many Swiss RFQs are prototype 50 pcs now with a production release of 10,000–50,000 if the first article qualifies.

Realistic MOQ respect

Set your minimum lot size on your profile; we respect it and route accordingly.

Keep your own customers

Our RFQs are new to your shop; we do not call your existing accounts.

DFM credit

If you review drawings for feature-driven cost (undercut depth, L/D ratio, concentricity callouts), flag DFM review and we bring you in early.

Common questions

The pushback we hear, answered

Yes. Many of our Swiss RFQs are mid-to-high volume (1,000–50,000 pcs) because the big instant-quote marketplaces are not set up for Swiss production economics. Tell us your minimum lot size on your profile and we filter.
