Unmanned systems iterate on shape more than almost any other product, because shape is aerodynamics and there is no way to settle it on a screen alone. FDM in ABS or polycarbonate is the cheapest way to hold something during a weekly cycle. SLA carries surface quality where appearance matters, and metal printing appears where geometry rules machining out.
