Architecture and construction fabrication partners

The Architectural Woodwork Institute standards (Architectural Woodwork Standards) are the millwork quality benchmark. They define the Economy, Custom, and Premium grades that architects call out on the specs for cabinetry, casework, and paneling.

Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association certification. Cabinets tested and certified to the ANSI/KCMA A161.1 standard for structural, finish, and hardware durability, common on residential and multi-family work.

Forest Stewardship Council chain-of-custody certification for responsibly sourced wood. Often required to earn LEED or other green-building credits on commercial projects.

A current state or local contractor license for shops that install as well as fabricate. Required for permitted on-site work and to pull the trade under a general contractor.

Accreditation for stone fabricators covering fabrication and installation quality. The mark to look for on granite, quartzite, and marble countertop and surface work.
